Rumah Hijau is by the roadside, green/hijau in color. It serves delicious food and offers various menus for breakfast and lunch. It is a clean restaurant and the owners are friendly. The price of food is reasonable. Parking space is available in front of the restaurant. So, be vigilant if you have small children. Rumah Hijau is very near Pengerang Integrated Complex and the Animal Farm. Lunch hour is pretty busy with tourists. A must visit restaurant in Pengerang.
The stall is situated along the roadside with convenient parking available in front. The place was exceptionally clean, and the owners were warm and welcoming. They offered a wide selection of dishes, and everything we tried was delicious. The fish head was also surprisingly big. Overall, it’s a great spot to visit, and I would gladly eat there again.

Food was awesome with varity of fish dishes.the most I recommend is their fish head curry and their asam pedas is top notch.the environment is is very clean. Most recommended.Nak mkn nasi mcm kat umah, ayuh ke rumah hijau
Highly recommend trying the local asam pedas, especially with fresh fish. It’s absolutely delicious and worth the hype. The tempe goreng sambal is another standout, flavorful, and perfectly not too spicy. Be sure to come early, as the lauk tends to run out fast due to the large crowds. A favorite spot for authentic, satisfying meals!
If you are in for Malay Kampong food after a trip to the mini zoo, this is the place to go! The lauk-pauk are so delicious and the owners are very friendly. Their mee rebus is also a must-try! Don't forget to stop over at the small warung at the side of the road before the restaurant for hot banana and sweet potato fritters
Normal warung beside the road on the way to Rapid Pengerang. As stated in google review by others, i totally agree that their asam pedas taste so good with the very affordable price. All the fish head size so big and of coz so fresh. The asam pedas taste was balance with sweet taste from fish flesh, sourness of the asam jawa and not too spicy. SEDAPPP!!!! The owner is also very warm and friendly. Please take note that this warung will be closed every Saturday & Sunday.
